I liked the idea of having a zoom feature so as to examine subjects in more detail when necessary, but zoom binoculars don't have a great reputation from what I have read. I purchased the 10-22x50 with some apprehension and am I ever glad I did. The optics are fantastic at 10 power with no distortion and are a pleasure to look through. There appears to be some bluriness when zooming up to 22x requiring some diopter readjustment. ...more

This is a top of the line binocular and very worth the price. The binoculars come with a carrying case, protective lens covers, and a strap.
